FIIs net
buyers of Rs 1,021 cr in F&O on 13 Jan
The
foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers to the tune of Rs
1,021.81 crore in the futures and options segment on 13 January, 2014.
According
to data available from the NSE website, the FIIs net buyers of index futures to
the tune of Rs 440.83 crore. The FIIs bought index options worth Rs 572.08
crore.
The FIIs
sold stock futures to the tune of Rs 11.76 crore, and were net buyers of stock
options worth Rs 20.66 crore.
In the
cash segment, the FIIs were net buyers of stocks worth Rs 235.09 crore. Their
gross purchases totalled Rs 5,046.28 crore, while gross sales amounted to Rs
